Luis Garcia was born and raised in Miami, FL. An avid spear fisherman and outdoorsman, he studied Fine Art and Art History at Florida International University. Then later he spent 8-1/2 years in prison, filling many, many pages, longhand. Now self-employed, he volunteers as a speaker and a teacher at rehabs all over Miami. His work has appeared in The Cafe Irreal.
