Vic Owens founded the studio Digisonic Recording and Mastering and video-interviewed artists and producers for twenty-five years. He also became the location audio engineer for the film company Denison Entertainment, edited the 2014 documentary Inside a Hippy Commune, and currently videos live performances as media director of Art House Gallery and Cultural Center in Berkeley, California. Since 2010, his company EyeArt Digital Media has created digital content for a variety of artists, including Clive Matson.

Clive Matson hung with Beats in New York in the 1960s. He reconnected when he read his poem “Hello, Paradise. Paradise, Good-bye” at European Beat Studies Network in Paris 2017. He is author of a number of books, including the poetry collections Mainline to the Heart: And Other Poems, Chaldecony’s First Ten Songs, and Squish Boots. He won the 2003 PEN Oakland Josephine Miles Award and City of Berkeley's Lifetime Achievement in poetry 2012.
